A Comeback - Spring, Fashion

“to bloom and to rest, a spring feeling”
The days are getting longer and warmer, yet many of us still haven’t parted with our winter coats. Spring is about layers—always keep a scarf or a warm knit to hand. There is sunshine, but also a sharp breeze .Step away from the blacks and greys. Move towards light creams, butter yellows, powder blues. The feeling of renewal—of rebirth, of revival—is there. But approach it slowly. There’s no need to rush. Don’t get caught in false spring.
Additional, must-haves: a good umbrella, and a good pair of socks.
I’ve always loved Uniqlo socks. I buy the brightest colours I can find and mix them—reds with yellows, purples with pinks. They peek out of my trousers, small flashes of colour, as we continue to battle the last of winter’s gloom, a reminder of what's to come.

A pit formed in my stomach when I realised it had been well over a year since I last posted here. The stark awareness that I’ve been paying for this space—but not using it, not growing it, not building it—left me disappointed.
I’ve been “lost in the normal world,” a phrase I’ve found myself using far too often. A throwaway excuse for neglecting my creativity in exchange for "adulting", for keeping everything afloat. But when you’re an artist, you’re always an artist. There isn’t really an excuse.
I have dozens of runway show reviews written but never edited or posted. A laundry list of ideas left untouched.
The irony is that on this random Monday in April, I couldn’t feel further from creativity. Burnt out, unfashionable, unartistic, and yet, it feels as though there’s no time like the present for a return. It has just been Resurrection Sunday, after all.
